Time card calculator

Fill in each day’s clock-in and clock-out times and the unpaid break, and TimesheetCalc totals the week in hours and minutes and in decimal hours for payroll. It handles overnight shifts that end after midnight, rounds punches to 5, 6 or 15 minutes if your employer does, splits regular and overtime hours and works out gross pay at your hourly rate.

Nothing is uploaded: the week is kept in your browser, so you can come back on Friday and finish it.

How the time card calculator works

For each day TimesheetCalc subtracts the clock-in time from the clock-out time, adding 24 hours when the shift ends after midnight, then takes off the unpaid break in minutes. If rounding is on, each punch is first rounded to the nearest 5, 6 or 15 minutes. Daily totals add up to the week, shown in hours and minutes and in decimal hours (minutes ÷ 60) to two places. With weekly overtime, hours over 40 are overtime. With daily overtime, hours over 8 in each day are overtime, and any regular hours left over 40 in the week are added, so no hour is counted twice. Gross pay is regular hours × rate plus overtime hours × rate × the multiplier, before taxes and deductions.
